The John W. Davis Natatorium at Cedar Crest High School is available to district residents for lap and open swims when not in use by school groups. Fee per use is $2.00, payable to attendant; free to students and district employees presenting valid ID badges, and to district residents with Gold Cards or athletic season passes. The weight room at Cedar Crest High School is open for community use Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Fridays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Fee per use is $2.00, payable to attendant; free to students and district employees presenting valid ID badges, and to district residents with Gold Cards or athletic season passes.
Digital Planetarium Presentations
The following programs presented in the planetarium at Cedar Crest High School are offered FREE of charge to all district resident senior citizens. Space is limited; registration is required. Night Shows are open to district residents of any age: Cost is $4.00/person, payable at the planetarium door. Call Ken Krammes, 272-2033, ext. 5967.
Astronaut Full Dome Show and Current Night Sky Lesson
Audiences will experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. Explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, from floating around the International Space Station to maneuvering through microscopic regions of the human body. Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject ‘Chad’ our test astronaut, to everything space has to throw at him!

Oasis In Space Full Dome Show and Current Night Sky Lesson
This show takes the audience on a startling and beautiful voyage through our universe, galaxy, and solar system in search for liquid water – a key ingredient for life on Earth.
