Good afternoon, Cornwall-Lebanon School District Community,

Since this COVID-19 pandemic began, our District efforts have focused on prevention of spread of community cases within our buildings. And, we are confident that our comprehensive mitigation strategies are working effectively. We greatly appreciate the cooperation we have received from our parents, students and staff members.

We do realize, though, that there is concern and anxiety regarding the sudden increase in positive cases in our surrounding community. Because we also are experiencing an increase in these positive community cases at Cedar Crest High School, out of caution, we are temporarily moving our Cedar Crest High School students in the Blue/Gray Hybrid learning option to a fully virtual environment, effective Monday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.

All Cedar Crest High School students should report for synchronous online at-home learning at 7:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. CCHS students will return to their Blue/Gray Hybrid schedule on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020. (That will be a Gray cohort in-person day).

All other District schools will continue with their current operations.

During these three days that Cedar Crest High School will be operating in a fully virtual environment, all high school students can order a free 3-day meals package (3 breakfasts and 3 lunches). Please complete the survey in your email or on the CLSD website linked here by 6 PM, Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, and pick up those meals Monday during your selected time period.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience during this school year. Have a good evening.

Philip Domencic, Ed.D., Superintendent
