Communities in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District are working together to update the regional plan for development and conservation in those municipalities.

A public meeting was held September 18, 2024 at which Gannett-Fleming-TranSystems senior project manager Michelle Brummer presented a slideshow to municipality representatives that addressed changes in the region since the last regional plan in 2013. The presentation from the public meeting, and a link to the comment form, are posted below.

Will you be living in our region in 2035? What local land use, housing, transportation, or other conditions need attention to maintain our region as a desirable and affordable place to live, work, learn, and play? Residents of Cornwall Borough; North Cornwall, North Lebanon, South Lebanon and West Cornwall townships are asked to submit comments by September 30, 2024, using this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/C-Leb

The draft regional plan will be available for public review later this Fall and will be informed by the survey results. Joint public meetings will be scheduled to receive comments on the draft plan.

The next Committee Meeting to offer feedback on the draft Regional Plan document and review public comments and revise, as needed is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. in the LGI Room at Cedar Crest High School. Enter via the Alumni Gym (Door E) across from the stadium.
