PUBLIC NOTICE of SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS
The next regular meeting of the CLSD Board of School Directors is Monday, June 17, 2019, in the LGI room at Cedar Crest High School, 115 East Evergreen Road. Enter via Door E (Alumni Gym). The next public work session will be Monday, June 10, 2019, in the District’s Educational Service Center, 105 East Evergreen Road. Both meetings are open to the public and begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Most board business will be addressed at the regular monthly board meeting, although the Board may take action at any of these public meetings. Other meetings will be scheduled during the year, as needed.

Overview of the new Act 32 withholding law
Beginning in 2011, employers in Lebanon County must withhold local earned income taxes as part of their employee payroll obligations according to Act 32.

Pennsylvania Farmland and Forest Land Assessment Act (Act 319)
Act 319 is a state law that allows qualifying land which is devoted to agricultural and forest land use to be assessed at a value for that use rather than Fair Market Value. The intent of the program is to encourage property owners to retain their land in agricultural, open space, or forest land use, by providing some real estate tax relief.
Complete the Clean and Green preferential assessment program form to enroll in the program.

Free and Reduced Meals
View the information for applications and guidelines for free and reduced school meals. Applications must be completed and submitted each new school year.
Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, is the deadline for the carry-over applications from the 2017-18 school year. If the District has not received a new application by Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, (the date all applications from last year expire), students will be charged full price for breakfast and lunch beginning October 1, 2019.
Families that have applied for the year 2018-19 school year will have received a letter stating if they are free or reduced by October 1, 2018.
Attention Parents: Vaccination Information
The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires children in ALL grades (K-12) to have the following vaccinations for school attendance in 2016-17:
• 4 doses of tetanus (1 dose on or after 4th birthday)
• 4 doses of diphtheria (1 dose on or after 4th birthday)
• 3 doses of polio
• 2 doses of measles (usually given as MMR)
• 2 doses of mumps (usually given as MMR)
• 1 dose of rubella (German measles) (usually given as MMR)
• 3 doses of hepatitis B
• 3 doses or varicella (chickenpox), or evidence of immunity
In addition, PA law requires children entering grade 7 in 2015-2016 to have the following vaccinations:
• 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV)
• 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) (if five years have elapsed since last tetanus immunization)
