Both regular meetings and work sessions are open to the public. District residents/property owners in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District may address the Board in this manner:

Regular meeting: Request to be placed on the agenda prior to noon on the last business day before the meeting by calling the Office of the Superintendent, (717) 272-2031, and providing name, address and topic. Time is limited to 5 minutes per individual.

Work session: Attendees will be invited to ask questions about items relevant to that work session’s topics at the conclusion of the session.

Free Planetarium Program - reservations required

The Planetarium at CCHS offers three FREE programs to the CLSD community each year. Reservations are requested at least one day in advance to ensure program availability. To make reservations, please call Rich Fried, planetarium director, at 223-241-9586. High School Renaissance Program

Renaissance Program

The Renaissance Program is a nationally recognized school program promoting and rewarding academic excellence for all students through incentives and recognition. All students have the potential to earn a Renaissance Card at the end of each marking period. Cards are delivered to students in homeroom. Prizes are drawn and awarded during lunch periods during each marking period. Any student who who does not have a lunch period or is absent my pick up prizes in the main office.

Levels of Awards

*Students must maintain a positive discipline record in order to be eligible for incentives each marking period.

Blue Level

Requirements: Distinguished Principal’s List – 3.9 GPA and above

Incentives

Quarterly drawing for student parking passes
Free admission to home athletic events – with a CCHS ID card
A variety of special discounts at local merchants, restaurants, and activities (See the back of your Renaissance card)
Eligibility for prizes awarded at the end of each marking period
Free ice cream sundae during lunch at the end of each marking period
Special activities for Renaissance students
$1 off student admission prices for the Fall Play and Spring Musical

Gray Level

Requirements: Principal’s List, 3.4 – 3.899 GPA

Incentives

$1 off student admission prices to home athletic events – with a CCHS ID card (excluding playoffs and tournaments)
A variety of special discounts at local merchants, restaurants, and activities (See the back of your Renaissance card)
Eligibility for prizes awarded at the end of each marking period
Free ice cream sundae during lunch at the end of each marking period
Special activities for Renaissance students
$1 off student admission prices for the Fall Play and Spring Musical

White Level

Requirements: 3.0 – 3.399 GPA – a teacher may also recommend a student for a white card for excellent effort, improvement or outstanding work on a class project.
