Aevidum's main goal is to create a positive mental health environment by showing support for all students and staff. Students plan and participate in various activities throughout the year to build an "I've got your back" culture at Cedar Crest.

Anime Club

Anime Club is for all students who appreciate Anime & Menga and celebrate the Japanese cultures.

Byte Club

The Byte Club focuses on Computer Science development outside of the classroom. It also emphasizes improving and reinforcing the skills that are taught in the classroom related to technology. Students learn new skills through the creation of projects. The mission is to educate members on topics dealing with computer science and develop a proper programming mindset. Each meeting consists  of time to work on group projects. Students must complete Computer Science Foundations 2 in order to be eligible to join the club.

Creative Writing Club

The Creative Writing Club is designed to give students an audience for their works of poetry, short stories, narratives, and other pieces of writing. In order to participate in the club, students must bring pieces of their writing to share with other members. Over the course of the year, they will revise their writing and enter it for publication in The Quest, the school literary magazine.

Debate Club

Debate club provides students with an opportunity to discuss and voice their opinions on "hot topic" issues. Students will learn the Lincoln-Douglas style of debate while being exposed to other perople's perspectives on current issues in society.

Drama Club

For students who enjoy the theater - whether on stage or back stage - there is a place for you! Participation in one of the school's theatrical productions is not mandatory for club membership. During our club meetings, we play theater games, and plan our Halloween and Winter Holiday parties. We also make plans to see shows and coordinate fundraisers to help us offset ticket and bus costs. The Drama Club also uses fundraiser money to produce the fall play each year and the student directed on-act plays at the end of the year. Traditionally, the Drama Club sponsors the annual Valentine Carnation Sale. All students are welcome!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a interdenominational Christian organization that, for more than 40 years, has been focused on the purpose: "To present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church." Typical programs include the following: monthly huddle meeting, monthly cross-training outreach breakfasts, leadership training, Rescue Mission Outreach, Detention Center Outreach, Service Projects, One-Way-2-Play - Drug Free Program sponsoring and more. The CCHS Huddle is connected to a network of huddles across the region and throughout the United States.

Future Business Leaders of America

A nationally known businesss-oriented club for students with many goals, including the development of competent business leadership, the strengthening of student self-confidence, and the development of personal character. Students interested in joining FBLA must pay $12 per year in membership dues which are split among state and national offices.

Throughout the year, FBLA members have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities, including workshops, competitions, and field trips. Costs associated with attendance at these functions is paid for through the fundraising efforts of the club. Cedar Crest FBLA members strive to make a difference in the local community, and therefore hold a Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank Blood Drive twice a year. While enrollment in business classes at CCHS may be helpful for competition purposes - it is not mandatory for joining the club.

This club makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. This is accomplished through career development events, recreational functions, leadership conferences, and many other activities as part of the Agriscience Program at Cedar Crest High School.

German Club

All club members must currently be taking German and have an interest in German culture. As a result, all club meetings will focus on some aspect of the culture (including land, people, traditions, and customs) or other order of business. You will find that belonging to German Club will allow you to learn even more about Germany and have fun doing it. Some club activities include: a trip to a German Restaurant, German Christmas caroling, the Cultural Arts Festival, a day filled with traditional German food, singing and dancing and a variety of German games. Club members plan activities and choose fundraisers. Come on and join in the fun!

Membership is open to all German students
Dues are $5 for the entire year
Members may attend the following events without costs:All meetings (often with refreshments)
The Oktoberfest
Spring trip to the Lancaster Liederkranz (including transportation and meal)
Members are expected to help with fundraising activities.

Key Club

Objectives of the Key Club are to develop initiative and leadership; to provide experience in living and working together; to serve the school and the community. Key Club is sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club and is open to all students who attend Cedar Crest High School. Like the Kiwanis Club, the Key Club is a service organization. Members of this club are students who are interested in donating some of their time to help others. The Key Club serves the community at large and the school community specifically. Often times, the Key Club assists the Kiwanis Club in their projects but also has projects of its own. Some of our community activities have included helping the following organizations: The American Cancer Society, The Salvation Army, The United Way, The Renova Center, and The Lebanon County Humane Society. Our school activities have included: serving as babysitters and tour guides for parent meetings, acting as student ambassadors for new students and raising funds to lend financial support to worthy causes. The Key Club meets once a month during one of the activity periods.

Mini THON

This club focuses primarily on raising awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer. Mini THONs are nationally recognized. Join the growing community of over 90,000 students nationwide who participate in organizing and coordinating the annual event.

Model United Nations Club

Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. In the MUN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda. While playing their roles as ambassadors, student “delegates” make speeches, prepare draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the MUN conference rules of procedure—all in the interest of mobilizing “international cooperation” to resolve problems that affect countries all over the world.

National Honor Society

National Honor Society at Cedar Crest is for selected juniors and seniors with a 3.85 or higher weighted GPA in all subjects for preliminary eligibility. See the CCHS Student Handbook for further details. Members must participate in 20 hours each year of community service and are expected to participate in fundraising opportunities.

Pep Club

Pep Club is responsible for promoting school spirit and providing service to the school community. Activities are mainly designed to support athletic programs. These activities include pep rallies, Homecoming weekend, gym and stadium decoration and the fall all-school picnic. Pep Club also sponsors activities for local charities including the King of Hearts Dance and Dress-Down Days. The Pep Club is open to all CCHS students interested in helping to promote school spirit.

Photography Club

Photography Club provides students with the opportunity to explore photography content that is not currently offered through the current photography curriculum. The club is students run, and monthly activities are determined by the interests of the active members. The club is open to all students who are currently enrolled or have completed the Basic Photography course here at CCHS.

Ping Pong Club

This club is open to all students who have an interest in the Olympic sport of table tennis or ping pong. Students learn the game and strategies of ping pong.

Quiz Bowl

The Quiz Bowl Team is a group of students who compete against teams from other schools in academic knowledge and trivia. Most competitions follow a game-show format where teams compete using an electronic buzzer system. The team competes in Lancaster-Lebanon league meets, other tournaments, the computer based Knowledge Master Open (KMO), and Brainbusters, a WGAL television production. The team practices after school 1-2 times per week from mid-September through April.

Sky, Earth, and Environment Club

SEE Club is an environmental club whose focus is on educating other students and the community on the importance of a clean and healthy environment. SEE Club organizes various activities for its members and the CCHS population such as: participation in local holiday parades, sponsoring a food drive for the Lebanon Food Bank during the holidays, Earth Day activities, and an annual "clean-up the campus" trash collection around CCHS.

This club is organized to promote Spanish culture and language.

Student Council

Student Council represents the student body on issues that concern student welfare, interests, and activities. The main responsibilities of Student Council include: coordinating all other student club activities and fundraising, allocating funds for projects and activities that benefit the student body, running the school store, and community service projects. Student Council membership is determined by election. Each class currently has six representatives who are assigned to the homeroom of the Student Council advisors. Incoming freshman elections are held in November. Upperclassmen elections are held in May.

Students Against Destructive Decisions

Originally the mission of the SADD chapter was to help young people say "No" to drinking and driving.  Today the mission has expanded.  Students have told us that positive peer pressure, role models and other strategies can help them say "no" to more than drinking and driving.  And, that is why SADD has become a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing destructive decision, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, teen violence and teen depression and suicide.

Students for Christ

Students for Christ is a Christian Club which encourages students in their faith. All students are welcome to take part in the club. Club activities include: small group Bible studies, discussions, and/or breakfast each Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. in Room 311; activity period meetings which highlight speakers from local youth groups, games, Christmas party, singing, etc.; and some after-school events like ice cream bashes, discussions of hot topics, games, fellowship, etc. We have done barn parties, prayer walks, gym nights, picnics, car washes, turkey chase, and county-wide events like a lock-in, skating, bowling, youth rallies and much, much more.

Students Together Advancing Respect (STAR)

The Big Star Program matches high school Big STARS with at-risk elementary school Little STARS in a district-wide mentor program. Big STARS serve as role models, homework helpers, and friends to the younger students. There are several large group activities during the year, but most of the time they spend together is during the school day on an individual basis. Bigs are required to spend at least two hours every two weeks with their Littles. Students may apply for the program in April for the following year. Selection is based on references and an interview. Students must be in good academic standing.

Technology Student Association

Technology Student Association (TSA) - prepares students for the challenges of a dynamic world by promoting technological literacy, leadership and problem solving, resulting in personal growth and opportunity.

Teens Against Tobacco Use

Students are selected to this group and trained in 9th or 10th grade. Club members present anti-tobacco education to 3rd grade elementary students in our district and participate in various other community events throughout the year.

Young Republicans Club

This club meets monthly to discuss political activity in the local, state, and federal government. A variety of viewpoints and issues are discussed. Guest speakers will be scheduled from time to time.
