Brown Named Principal at South Lebanon Elementary School

Mark D. Brown has been named Principal at South Lebanon Elementary School following the retirement of Mr. Barry Ferguson.

A graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, Mark earned his Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education at Kutztown University and his Master’s Degree and Principal’s Certification at Penn State University. He taught five years in Stafford County (VA) Public Schools, followed by eight years at Jonestown Elementary School in the Northern Lebanon School District. For the past four years, he has been Principal and Instructional Leader at Bethel Elementary School in the Tulpehocken Area School District.

“I am excited to join the Cornwall-Lebanon School District administrative team,” he said. “As principal at South Lebanon, I will share my passion and dedication for teaching children to achieve their goals while providing a safe and encouraging school environment. I look forward to collaborating with the faculty and staff members to empower students and ensure our school is a resource for their families.”

Mark and his wife Chris reside in Annville with their three children and dog.
