Planetarium Programs at Cedar Crest High School

Events at the Cedar Crest High School planetarium are free of charge, but reservations must be made in advance to ensure program availability. Donations to the Falcon Foundation are proudly accepted. Please contact Rich Fried at 717-272-2033 x5412 at least one day prior to the event you wish to attend. Daytime Shows for Senior Citizens

Senior Citizens and their family members are invited to a free viewing of “The Solar System” on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, 10–10:45 AM, at the Cedar Crest High School Planetarium.

Using the planetarium, presenter Rich Fried will teach about the eight planets, countless asteroids, comets, and dwarf planets in orbit around the Sun. Afterwards, compare the size of our Sun to the planets and to many of the stars you can see from Lebanon on a clear night.


 Evening Shows for all ages

The general public is invited to a free viewing of “The Solar System” on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, 7–7:45 PM, at the Cedar Crest High School Planetarium.
 
This presentation is appropriate for all age levels and makes for a great family activity.
