Congratulations to 5th grader, Nate Bomgardner, for earning the title of South Lebanon’s Geography Bee Champion! Nate was able to win the championship round by correctly answering more geography questions than the eight other participants. Way to go, Nate!

Congratulations to 5th grader, Cecilia Polvino, for winning the SL Spelling Bee on February 19! This is Cecilia’s second year in a row winning the bee. In addition to Cecilia, Amaris Shoe, Nicholas Brubaker, Piper O’Hara and Gabriel Foster will represent South Lebanon at the Elementary District Spelling Bee at Ebenezer Elementary School on Wednesday, March 18, at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to cheer on these amazing spellers!

Students in Mrs. Klynoot's class at South Lebanon Elementary School enjoyed their visit from Cedar Crest High School students in the COLA program who traveled a few miles down the road to spend some time reading to them!

About 80 CCHS students in National Honor Society visited each CLSD elementary school in a service activity to lead holiday craft creation and read to the students. Students in Mrs. Nelson's Kindergarten class really enjoyed getting into the holiday mood while interacting with the older students.

Congratulations to Senior Travis Furmanski! This season, Travis won the trifecta in Boys Cross Country competitions: Lancaster-Lebanon League Champion ... District 3 Champion ... and Class 3A Boys PIAA Champion!
The last Falcon runner to win PIAA gold was Nick MacFalls in 1990.

The Community Open House and ribbon cutting ceremony and for the Falcon Connector was held Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. Among the participants who toured the new building were students, parents, current and retired faculty, staff and administrators, current and former members of the CLSD School Board, and interested members of the CLSD community. School Board President Ruth Ann Schlegel cut the ribbon beside Superintendent Domencic, key project and team leaders, and state and local elected officials.
