Ebenezer Elementary School celebrated America's 250th birthday with a parade and a variety of patriotic activities.
The morning began with an all-school patriotic assembly, during which students and staff gathered outside to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Throughout the day, classrooms participated in themed activities, including a snow cone treat and visits from The Keystone Kid, America250PA's official mascot.
Students created patriotic floats and flags and paraded in front of the school decked out in red, white, and blue swag while parents and community members cheered them on.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students to celebrate," said Fourth Grade Teacher Denise Cassel, the event's organizer.
The event was held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
