Dear Cedar Crest Middle School Families,
Thank you for your patience and cooperation this morning with our unexpected Flexible Instruction Day (FID).
Our plan for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, is for CCMS to operate in-person on a regular schedule. Students will be served Grab-and-Go meals for breakfast and lunch tomorrow at Cedar Crest Middle School only.
Classroom temperatures will continue to be monitored throughout the day. The technicians working on repairs to the cooling system expect to have the issues resolved in the morning.
The forecast for Wednesday indicates continued hot weather. If the cooling system is not quickly repaired in the morning, we will communicate this information as soon as possible with our students, parents and staff. We may need to dismiss early and move to a FID to complete the school day.
