Kudos to the fifteen CCMS 6th grade student musicians who were accepted into the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Youth Honors Band.
The top 5th and 6th graders from 30 Central PA schools combined to perform a concert on November 22 at Manheim Central Middle School.
Cedar Crest Middle School had the most students selected for the honors band out of all 30 schools attending!

Members of the Cedar Crest Quiz Bowl team will be competing on WGAL-8’s Brain Busters on Sunday, November 23rd at 12:00 Noon against Middletown High School in a first round match.
If you can’t tune in to watch that day, you will be able to watch the match at https://www.wgal.com/brainbusters sometime shortly after the episode airs.

Today is Apple Crunch Day! 🍎 At Ebenezer, along with a themed lunch >>Eat the Rainbow>> students could vote for their favorite apple flavor to determine which apples are served at lunch.
CCMS after-school clubs and activities are back! Please check the link in your Skyward email or CCMS S'more app for detailed information about opportunities for students to stay after school and enjoy being in a club or activity. Also included in the messages is contact information about youth and school sports.
Student families are asked to responding to the brief Military Families survey that was sent via Skyward email. After completing the survey, you will be able to make a reservation for the annual breakfast program for CLSD veterans and military families of students on Nov. 13th.
October 15th is the deadline for applications for Falcon Foundation Grants & Awards to be used for enrichment opportunities for students/teachers/community members that will take place between December 1-May 31, 2026!

The Community Open House and ribbon cutting ceremony and for the Falcon Connector was held Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. Among the participants who toured the new building were students, parents, current and retired faculty, staff and administrators, current and former members of the CLSD School Board, and interested members of the CLSD community. School Board President Ruth Ann Schlegel cut the ribbon beside Superintendent Domencic, key project and team leaders, and state and local elected officials.
