Congratulations to Mrs. Jill Houtz, Physical Education Teacher at South Lebanon Elementary School, on her recent recognition as an Emerging Young Leader at the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Emerging Leaders Awards Program.
Award recipients were nominated for professional growth, innovation, and having a positive influence on others.
In his letter nominating Mrs. Houtz for this award, Principal Mark Brown said, “Jill has used her leadership skills to engage families in her P.E. classes by hosting family P.E. days where parents come to participate in gym class with their children. Her organization efforts with the annual school-wide field day have engaged the community by having over 50 parent volunteers participate each year.”
