Congratulations to the Second Grade students at Union Canal for winning the 6-week attendance competition! They earned a craft and choice of apple cider or apple juice. Funding for the reward was through CISPA (Communities in Schools of PA). Azlyn Hain is the CISPA site coordinator at Union Canal.

Congratulations to CCMS's Natalie Tran for earning a spot in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Band! More than 300 students from Central PA auditioned for this band on 12/6/2025 ... only 120 students were accepted. The accepted students will rehearse on 2/6 and 2/7 and perform a concert on 2/7/2026 at Steelton-Highspire HS.
What is so notable about this? Most of the students who make the band are high school-aged. Natalie earned a spot as an 8th grader! She plays the clarinet and finished 10th overall on her instrument, a very high placement for a middle school student.

For Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, the Cornwall-Lebanon School District is now CLOSED.
