During the months of January, February, March, April and May students in grades 1 thru 5 have the opportunity to attend lunch here at U.C. with Dr. McGinty, the principal, an Officer from the Lebanon County Regional Police Department and the Cornwall Lebanon School District Police Officer.
McDonald’s in Myerstown provides a Happy Meal for the occasion. The students can ask the police officers questions about the job and their experiences. The student is chosen by their teacher for having a positive attitude, a satisfactory attendance record, and accomplished academic achievement “The Three A’s”, during the school year.
