Certified school counselors or learning facilitators are available in all district buildings. Counselors and learning facilitators serve as liaisons between parents, teachers, students, administrators, and community agencies concerning the child’s social development as related to school success. They also provide information related to school services and community resources. School counseling focuses on areas such as child development, study skills, classroom presentations, parent training, consultation, individual counseling, conflict resolution, small group counseling, and career development.
