Congratulations to Ryan Brophy, Cedar Crest Middle School’s Student of the Year for 2023! Ryan is the son of Patrick Brophy and Carolyn Lentz. Principal Burton presented Ryan to the Board of School Directors at the February meeting and read the following accolades from his teachers and CCMS support staff:

Mrs. McDaid: Ryan Brophy is one of the most well rounded, responsible, respectful, and kind students I have ever had the pleasure of having as a student!

Mrs. Dodson: Ryan Brophy was a member of the Student Store in 7th grade.  He showed leadership and responsibility.  Ryan volunteered this year to run the Student Store during parent teacher conferences.  He is always willing to help!

Mrs.  Young: Ryan Brophy is the embodiment of the perfect Cedar Crest student.  He is thoughtful, kind, respectful, intelligent, involved, and a born leader.  I can’t think of a better student to represent our school than Ryan.

Mrs. Lechleitner: Ryan Brophy was elected by his peers to be the 2023 Diamond Dash president.  He is hard-working, responsible and a good communicator.

Mr. Wojdyla: Ryan is truly a student who cares about others and goes out of his way to help anyone in need. As a Student Council Representative for the past few years, he has helped plan fundraisers, created engaging activities for all students at CCMS to enjoy, and so much more. Additionally, Ryan has been a model student with regard to academics as he puts forth exceptional effort on every assignment and helps others when they reach out.

Mrs. Rodkey: Ryan has participated in Mini-THON and student council for all three years of middle school. He has grown into a leader who has helped planned many school events. One closest to my heart is that he knows this school is a team and that every member counts. He has been a huge part of planning and hosting activities for Falcons that have multiple disabilities.
