Cornwall-Lebanon School District participates in the National School Lunch Program, a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. Families of enrolled CLSD students that qualified for free/reduced meals during the 2022-2023 school year, will be receiving a letter by mid-August from the Department of Human Services (DHS) informing them that their child is eligible for summer 2023 Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). The letter will include a Family Guide resource for P-EBT with information and links that should help eligible families obtain answers for any P-EBT questions. P-EBT benefits are due to be issued by DHS beginning in late July into August 2023.

Please note that the Department of Human Services (DHS) has a new P-EBT Inquiry Portal at https://www.pennebt.com/en/ . Do not use any previous links. The inquiry portal is for parents to submit specific questions to DHS about their child’s PEBT benefits. This portal is separate from the Parent Portal that parents can use to look up whether their child was determined eligible for P-EBT and to request a replacement card. Descriptions of these two resources along with others, such as the DHS P-EBT family hotline number, are included in the Family Guide. The P-EBT Family Guide also can be accessed by clicking on this link.
