Annual CLSD School Board Reorganization

Prior to its regularly scheduled December 4, 2023, meeting, the CLSD Board of School Directors held its annual Reorganization meeting following the General Elections. During the meeting, Judge Charles T. Jones, Jr., administered the oath of office to newly elected and re-elected school board directors (pictured left- right): Jane L. Owsiak, Jeffrey J. Snyder, Diana E. Carpenter, Ruth Ann Schlegel, Christian M. Thomas, and Susan M. Weiss.

In other Reorganization items, Ruth Ann Schegel was nominated and unanimously re-elected president of the Cornwall-Lebanon Board of School Directors. Joel Zug was nominated and unanimously elected vice president of the Board.

The Board also nominated and elected Ruth Ann Schegel to serve as representative and Joel Zug to serve as alternate representative to the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center Operating Board for a three-year term.

Mrs. Schegel announced the following appointments:

Jean Hentz – primary voting delegate to the Lebanon County Tax Collection Committee for a one-year term; Wesley Bensing, alternate voting delegate.

Diana Carpenter – representative and legislative chairperson to the PA School Board Association for a one-year term.
