Ebenezer Elementary School (students, staff and community), under the enthusiastic guidance and support of Phys Ed Teacher Rob Bare, broke its own record by raising more than $70,000 for the American Heart Association – Pennsylvania through their participation in the Kids Heart Challenge (KHC).
2024 is the 28th year that the school, and Mr. Bare, has participated in raising funds for AHA. In that time period, the Ebenezer community has raised more than $900,000! “We do KHC for three reasons – it’s fun, it helps our hearts get healthier, and it helps save people’s lives,” said Bare.
