As a substitute teacher in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District, you can earn $155/day ($165/day for emotional or autistic support classrooms). Monthly bonuses are possible, too!
Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 offers a Guest Teacher Training program that is designed to provide participants with limited or no classroom experience with the necessary training to qualify as day-to-day substitutes. Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s degree in any content area and wish to serve as a day-to-day substitute teacher are encouraged to enroll in the program.
The Guest Teacher Training is done in two parts: online training and one on-site training day from 8 AM to 4 PM. (Lunch will be provided.)
Each Guest Teacher exits the training program with the basic skills and resources to be a substitute teacher and will be issued an emergency teaching permit from the PA Department of Education (PDE).
